ai bootcamp.
Your own AI system to keep — specs, personas, skills file, worklog.
OCT 15–18, 2026 · ISLA MUJERES, MÉXICO · 15 SPOTS ONLY
what you’ll build.
Project 1 — Your first AI-powered website. Spec it, prompt it, ship it. Day one.
Project 2 — A working AI agent that does something real. Built by you. Deployed by you.
Project 3 — Your final build. Your idea. Presented live in front of judges on Day 4. Best project wins a Mac Mini. 🏆
In just 4 days every attendee leaves with their own spec system, personas file, skills file, and worklog. Not just an app — the method that built it.
Meet the Team
4 nights: Oct 14–19
You leave with 3 shipped projects, your own spec system, AI personas, skills file, and worklog — the same method Andrew used to build a Lightning ticketing platform in 33 nights. 4 days of classes and labs with a Senior Reddit engineer who's taught at Amazon, Macy's, and Starbucks. Meals, gym, activities, ferry — all in. Two people per room at Mayakita.
You get your own bed in a shared room — think two beds, two people. You're not sleeping on a couch or bunking with a stranger (or maybe you are, if you dare!). Each person has their own space; you just share the room itself.
Best if you're coming with a friend, a business partner, or someone from your network you already vibe with.
4 nights: Oct 14–19
Your own room at Mayakita. One bed, one person, full privacy. You come and go as you want, decompress between sessions solo, and have your space to yourself for the full 4 nights. Everything else — meals, gym, classes, activities — is the same as everyone else.

15 SPOTS.
ONE ISLAND.
ARE YOU IN?
There are a hundred AI events. None of them look like this.
Most put you in a hotel ballroom, hand you a speaker lineup, and send you home inspired for 72 hours. By Wednesday it's gone.
This one is taught by Andrew Orobator — Senior Android Engineer at Reddit. Taught AI engineering to teams at Amazon, Macy's, and Starbucks. Speaker at AI Engineer World's Fair 2025.
Here, you build every day. 15 people max. Andrew knows your name and your project. The island is the curriculum — you use Lightning to pay for lunch, your golf cart, your drinks. Everyone in the room paid $3,000 and flew to an island to build. That's the filter.
No other event does all of this at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. This bootcamp is built around vibe coding — you describe what you want to build and AI writes the code. Andrew teaches you how to think like a builder and direct the tools, not how to debug syntax. If you can type and explain an idea, you can build.
-
Three things. Day 1: an AI-powered website. Day 2: a personal AI agent connected to real APIs that does something useful for your business. Day 3 and 4: your final project — your choice, combining everything you've learned. You present it live on Sunday. The best one wins a Mac Mini.
-
Founders, creators, operators, marketers, freelancers — anyone who wants to use AI to build real things and stop waiting for a developer to do it for them. You don't need a tech background. You need a laptop and something you want to build.
-
Your laptop, a personal WiFi hotspot as backup, and $100–120 to set up your Claude account and API credits. That's it. Everything else — room, food, ferry, gym, transport — is covered.
-
✈️ Step 1 — Fly into Cancún
Book all flights to Cancún International Airport (CUN). That's your only arrival point.
🚐 Step 2 — Get from the Airport to the Ferry
Do not take a taxi — it's by far the most expensive option. Uber is not available at the airport due to an ongoing conflict with taxi unions.
✅ Best option: Private shuttle — Nacho Tours
Cost: $120 USD round trip ($30 deposit via PayPal upfront, $90 cash to driver on arrival)
Driver meets you at the airport holding a sign, transports you in a large van
Book via WhatsApp at least 48 hours in advance

⛴️ Step 3 — Take the Ferry to Isla Mujeres
Two options — both about the same price:
🥇 Xailing (Xcaret Ferry) — Recommended
Runs every hour (no 3PM departure)
Nicer, less crowded, better experience
Buy open tickets (valid anytime) in advance: xailing.com
Ultramar Ferry — More flexible
Every 30 min in high season, hourly in low season
Buy open tickets in advance: ultramarferry.com
🏝️ Step 4 — Get from the Ferry to Mayakita
Two options once you land on the island:
🚕 Taxi (simplest)
Taxi stand is right at the ferry terminal exit
Cost: ~$10–$15 USD
Island taxis are safe and reasonably priced — no hesitation here
🛻 Golf Cart (most fun)
The bootcamp will have shared golf carts available for group travel, so a taxi to Mayakita is all you need on arrival
Want your own cart for independence? Rent through Everything Isla Mujeres — a BTC Isla merchant
Cost: ~$95/day, 3-day minimum (Bitcoin accepted 🧡)
Only a 7-min walk from the ferry terminal
Book at least 48 hours in advance
📱 WhatsApp: +52 998 161 6832
💡 Good to Know
Phone: AT&T and most US/MX carriers work on the island — activate your international plan before arrival. Local SIMs available if needed.
Cash: Keep some pesos or USD on hand. Most merchants accept both, plus credit cards at larger spots.
Bitcoin: 45+ merchants accept Lightning payments across the island. You'll be spending sats from day one.
-
Yes, and we encourage it. We accept Lightning payments for your ticket. Every dinner is at a Bitcoin-accepting restaurant on the island. Bring your sats wallet — you'll use it daily for food, transport, and activities. Isla Mujeres has 45+ Bitcoin merchants. It's a live circular economy.
-
Work hard, go deep, then live the island. Morning training is optional but most people do it. Labs are focused and real. Afternoons are for the Caribbean — snorkeling, golf carts, sunset swims. Evenings are the whole group at dinner. It's intense and it's fun. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
